SUMMARY
Process closed loans and daily maintenance of all loans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Booking of mortgage loans
- Daily processing of payments received in the mail
- Daily maintenance of all loan types
- Balancing of loan related GL and DDA accounts
- Handling escrow accounts
- Handling credit disputes
- Handling insurance mail
- Handling loan customer service via phone
- Perform duties as defined in the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of similar or related experience
- General knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures
- Experience of consumer/commercial loan or credit experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, good judgment and decision-making skills
- Presents a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives
- Have a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
- Ability to exercise personal and professional responsibility and work with limited direction
- Must be able to use tact and diplomacy and communicate effectively via telephone, letters, personal contact, etc
- Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
- Must be a team player
- General knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program preferred.
