What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Boys Soccer Coach position at Morris Catholic High School?
Morris Catholic High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to coach our boys soccer team.
Applicants must work well with young men, ages 14-18, and must be qualified to coach at the high level expected of a successful New Jersey high school team. Experience is necessary.
Morris Catholic High School seeks a Varsity Boys Soccer coach for the Fall 2025 season. Responsibilities include:
- building and growing a competitive and successful program at all levels
- organizing effective practices that enhance individual skill development and team play
- timely communication with administration, parents, league and state coaches and representatives
- promotion of the Morris Catholic brand
- provide proper supervision of athletes
- teaching life lessons through the sport of soccer
- promoting the values and mission of Morris Catholic High School
- supporting the student-athletes in all of their educational pursuits
- working collaboratively with all stakeholders including the parents, booster club, and school administration.
- comply with all required certifications as directed by the Diocese of Paterson.
- ability to coach soccer in a highly competitive league, county and state levels of play
- maintain equipment, and communicate effectively with athletes, parents, other members of the MCHS coaching staff, and administration
- be available to speak to potential athletes interested in playing soccer at MCHS.
