Position Overview
This is a full-time Customer role that will focus on maximizing revenue and profitability for their assigned community & alternative site of care customers. They will work with new customers to onboard them into Morris & Dickson’s systems and ensure that they are properly set up to order products on Morris & Dickson’s web ordering portal. They will also ensure that customer pricing, as set forth in their customer pricing proposal, is accurate in the web ordering portal.
Once new customers are set up to order, this role will be responsible for pulling customer ordering data from source systems to monitor customer ordering behaviors to ensure that customers perform in line with revenue and profit expectations in accordance with the customer’s pricing proposal.
This role will interact with clinic customers on a regular basis, developing relationships with buyers at these sites to ensure that they get the best possible experience working with Morris & Dickson. This role will serve as a customer ‘champion’ for their customers, working with internal Morris & Dickson teams to correct pricing issues, troubleshoot delivery challenges as they arise, etc. This role should also look for upsell opportunities to grow Morris & Dickson’s revenue and margin performance with the customer.
This role will work closely with the Regional VPs of Sales - Community/Alternative Sites, who will be responsible for opening new customer relationships, to ensure that new customers are efficiently and accurately set up in Morris & Dickson’s systems.
A material portion of the compensation for this role will be based on the achievement of variable compensation goals and targets. Targets will be based on revenue and profitability metrics for assigned customers.
Qualifications
- Business development orientation. Strong performers in this role should progress into Sales roles over time
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building mindset is a must
- Customer service and patient-centric orientation
Critical Skills
- Strong background in data analysis. Expert skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, etc. are essential. Working knowledge of Power BI tools is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn how Morris & Dickson’s transaction processing systems and internal centers of excellence support our customers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to build value during client interactions
Education
- 4-year degree (B.A., B.S., etc.) strongly preferred
Travel
- This role may be located either in the Corporate Headquarters in Shreveport, LA, or it may be a remote-based role
- Regular visits to Corporate Headquarters in Shreveport to build and maintain relationships with internal support teams should be expected to be successful in this role
- This role should expect to visit their assigned customers in person 3-4 times/year to maintain relationship and trust with buyers and key customer decision makers
