Stock Picker (Cherry Picker Operator)

Our goal is to create an experience our customers view as unique among all vendor relationships and indispensable to their delivery of healthcare.   As a Stock Picker, you will be responsible for safely operating Powered Industrial Trucks (Cherry Picker/ Order Picker/ High Reach) and other material handler equipment within the Distribution Center. Responsible for utilizing powered equipment safely and efficiently, to pick orders to be shipped, transport products to storage, and or staging locations.    HOURS: 2nd Shift (2:00pm – until the end of production)   PAY:  $16 - $18 per hour (based on experience) Morris & Dickson offers competitive compensation, training, career progression, and provides comprehensive benefits (medical, vision, dental, and 401k).   Responsibilities:   Fulfill the daily tasks of receiving/storing product, picks and packs product for shipment, and ensuring that the correct product and product quantities are being shipped Handling product in a correct and safe manner Operating a Cherry Picker/ Order Picker/ High Reach Qualifications:  High School Education and or GED Basic computer knowledge Previous experience operating Cherry Picker is REQUIRED Great physical stamina and manual dexterity Team player Good organizational and time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Problem solver. Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50lbs Be able to frequently climb and descend lift platforms that may be greater than 6 feet Shift schedule includes days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Frequent movements include walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
