Summary :
The Lead Financial Planning Analyst will support Okuma Tower division of Morris Group and act as a liaison with Corporate Center of Excellence. This role will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis processes to support strategic decision-making across the division. The lead analyst will assist with the identification of operational improvement opportunities and drive decision-making by collecting, managing, analyzing, and disseminating financial information and analyses. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a proven understanding of financial management principles, and a consistent track record of process ownership.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and assist in the preparation of annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with and support Corporate FP&A team and Corporate Center of Excellence.
- Work autonomously and perform complex analysis to identify and evaluate key challenges and opportunities.
- Design financial models and reports and identify key performance indicators to drive value in the business.
- Prepare and participate in financial and operational discussions with business leaders.
- Serve as a business partner by working effectively and independently with leaders to drive additional profitability through analysis and reporting.
- Lead and support the monthly financial planning process, including variance analysis, management reporting, and planning platform management.
- Provide training and support on best practices and process workflow updates, including preparing desktop procedures for end users.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop creative solutions to problems and help drive standardization, automation, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
