Summary of Responsibility:
We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent professional to join our Contract Support team as a Project Support Specialist for our largest business unit (the Okuma Tower). In this role, you will be assisting in the processing of contracts for the sale of machine tools. This position strives to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Contribute:
- General support for Capital Project Management team
- Collaborate with both external and internal team members such as customer service and sales, personnel and other internal departments.
- Complete & distribute timely external billings in accordance with contractual arrangements.
- Track purchase orders, payments, and deadlines.
- Updating portals
- Support Contract team with freight arrangements for large machine transport and delivery.
- Assisting with group email management.
- Maintain detailed and organized files.
- Ensure Microsoft D365 is updated for current status of orders and revenue is timely and accurately recognized.
- Assist with special projects related to the Capital Project Management team (Audits, ERP project, etc.)
- Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in the field.

Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of project administration background is preferred.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience is helpful, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
- Solid written and verbal communication, listening, organization and priority setting skills preferred.
- Ability to resolve conflicts.
- Ability to perform job with integrity and values consistent with the Morris Group Values.
