690 - Social Worker

Description

Provides assessment, evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy and social services to individuals, couples, families and groups. Participates in clinical staff development, supervision and performance improvement activities as a member of an interdisciplinary team. 

Qualifications

Minimum- LMSW, LCAT, LMFT, LMHC, PhD 
Strong fund of knowledge and practice of social work and /or creative arts therapy, marriage and/or family therapy, mental health counseling according to area of 
practice and licensure 
One year of post Master's clinical experience or equivalent experience preferred working with children, adolescents and adults in a mental health setting. 
Can demonstrate knowledge of evidence based practices. 
Basic computer skills. 
Demonstrates communication skills necessary to interpret age specific responses to treatment and engagement of patient (s) in the therapeutic alliance. 
Demonstrates understanding of cultural and ethnic practices of the community and patients served. Maintains ongoing cultural competencies. 
Can demonstrate Age Related Competency, knowledge of growth and 
developmental stages from childhood, adolescence, adulthood and older adulthood. 
Demonstrates the ability to provide and interpret age specific data for children, 
adolescents, adults and older adults.
