- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- The Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services will assist with directing the organization's nursing and patient care delivery. They will be involved in promoting and enhancing the professional practice of nursing. as well as achieving patient experience and quality outcomes. The Assistant Vice President is responsible and accountable for managing the economic and day-to-day operations of designated departments and their clinical operations.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration required
- At least five years of leadership experience is required, with ever increasing responsibilities preferred. House Supervisor experience preferred
- CNML certification or NE-BC preferred
- IONL Fellowship graduate, IONL/AONL member
- Personal
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and oral presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Ability to analyze and evaluate budgets, create financial models, and demonstrate ROI's on new/existing services
- Ability to create and present ideas and gain staff support
- Ability to maintain confidential patient records and work with physician/APP colleagues on initiatives
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
