DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
Participates in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen including, clean up of café, catering, special events, and dish area. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with Morris Hospital policy and IDPH and other regulatory agency regulations. Operates and properly maintains food service equipment including the dish machine.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Food service experience preferred.

Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.

Experience with kitchen equipment preferred.

Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.

Must demonstrate good social skills and a commitment to quality.

Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.
