DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

A person who is responsible for order entry, drug utilization, renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, preparing and dispensing medications, verification of medications, acting as a resource/educating staff regarding medications, and communication with nursing/physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Current pharmacy licensure issued by the State of Illinois (30 hour CEU's included) with biennial renewal.

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, diplomacy, and honesty.

Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.

Possesses the ability to work under pressure

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
