The Surgical Tech is responsible for the care and use of instruments in the operating room working under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, certified surgical technologist, and / or surgeon.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of principles of asepsis.
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Desire and ability to cooperate with and / or under the direction of others.
- Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary.
