Morris James LLP seeks an experienced Litigation Administrative Assistant to join its Corporate/Commercial Litigation practice group in Wilmington DE, located at 500 Delaware Avenue. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of litigation and e-filing experience and must be a driven, detail-oriented self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of tasks.
The hours for this position are 9am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday, with some occasional overtime. This a full-time, non-exempt, position. Salary commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):
- Prepare/format/edit/proofread legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, etc.
- Transcribe Dictation
- Handle electronic filings via File&ServeExpress CM/ECF
- Respond accurately and timely to client phone calls and emails
- Enter attorneys’ time and process billing
- Properly file documents into the electronic management system
- Prepare conflicts of interest requests
- Open and close files, proactively monitoring case statuses
- Assist with overflow work when schedule/workload permits
- Manage all client files with discretion
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Strong client-service-centered approach and positive attitude with a commitment to excellence
- Technical skills, including the ability to work with databases and case management software
- Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to work independently as appropriate and as a member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and professionals in person, via email and by telephone
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform well under the pressure of multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading
- Integrity, client confidentiality
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation and e-filing experience as a litigation administrative assistant
- Strong word processing skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Familiarity with Aderant Expert
