JOB DESCRIPTION - ENTRY LEVEL POSITION
TITLE: Production Worker / Board Assembler DEPARTMENT: Production Laminate/Board Assembler
REPORTS TO: Board Room Lead / Executive Vice President
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Laminate different materials and apply the graphics provided by the print department to different materials. Assemble boards according to the specs detailed on the prints.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Work with others in manufacturing department to assure transactional accuracy.
Each assembler is held accountable for the quality of the products that they produce. Boards must be assembled with the correct materials and the graphics must be applied wrinkle free. When laminating, boards must be wiped thoroughly to keep debris from collecting in between the laminate and the board creating a fisheye.
Check each piece for quality before it placed on cart to go to the shop for cutting.
Periodically wash your hands throughout your shift to eliminate build up on your hands that can scratch the acrylic.
No more than 125 boards per shelf on a cart. Any more than that exceeds the maximum limit for the cart and could result in the cart breaking and injuring yourself or others.
Each board assembler is required to clean up the board assembly area at the end of each shift. Board assemblers are also required to keep the materials area clean and organized.
Every employee is required to fill out a production sheet to keep track of their production for the day. This sheet must be signed by the supervisor at the end of each shift.
The daily goal is 225 boards laminated and 225 boards assembled
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work safely in manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

*$1,000 Signing Bonus In order for an employee to be eligible for the signing bonus, the employee must have an average of 38 regular hours per week for those 1,040 hours worked. It is expected that this will take a regular full-time employee approximately 6 months to complete, though this may vary by individual employee. Once eligible, the signing bonus will be issued to the employee during the subsequent regular pay period after the requirements are met.
