We are hiring a UV Flatbed Printer Operator. This position plays a vital role in our printing operations, ensuring high-quality and accurate output for a variety of print materials.

Duties:

· Verify material usage for given jobs, as well as software settings for specific materials and prepare materials for imprint.

· Double check order paperwork and proof sheet for accuracy

· Distinguish between colors for color matching.

o Adjust colors as needed through software to accomplish matching previous runs and/or specific colors using the Pantone Matching System

· Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any necessary adjustments.

· Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the UV Flatbed Printer

· Complete daily paperwork

· Communicate with coworkers in multiple departments via email and in person regarding jobs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a flatbed printer is preferred but not required
• Good vision
• Understanding of color matching preferred
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and ask questions.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and ONYX is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Shift: Monday-Friday - Training Shift : 6:00 am-2:30 pm & Working Shift is either 6:00am-2:30pm or 1:00pm-9:30pm

*$1,000 Signing Bonus - In order for an employee to be eligible for the signing bonus, the employee must have 1,040 physical hours worked. It is expected that this will take a regular full-time employee approximately 6 months to complete, though this may vary by individual employee. Once eligible, the signing bonus will be issued to the employee during the subsequent regular pay period after the requirements are met.
