Purpose: The Human Resource Assistant acts as an assistant to the HR Director in all matters pertaining to the HR department.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-5:00PM; Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Human Resource Director as needed.
Key Tasks:
- Assist with the hiring process
- Assist with new hire orientation
- Maintain and update employee records
- Assist with performance evaluations
- Assist with employee outreach and engagement
- Complete employee verifications
- Revise and update company documents as needed
- Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operations of the HR department
Essential Qualifications
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of privacy and confidentiality
- Experience working both independently and in a team environment
- A bachelor's degree or experience in HR is preferred but not required
