The Account Manager performs a variety of tasks relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Primarily responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients. While being a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs. This position will manage and develop client accounts to initiate favorable relationships with clients. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is pertinent. Account Managers will assist with client complaints, collecting and analyzing data, as they work toward improving the overall customer experience.
This position will be filled at either the Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level. Salary will be based on the level in which the position will be filled as well as qualified experience / education.

Essential Functions :
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term, trusted relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal teams.
- Forecast, track, maintain, and improve accounts financial and supply chain metrics. (Including but not limited to inventory levels, trading terms, incentive schemes, lead times, risk management, etc.)
- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Process new orders in Manufacturing ERP system.
- Monitor and analyze customer's usage of product.
- Follow up on orders to ensure they are processed, shipped, and delivered as requested by customer.
- Responsible for working with the sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing current clients.
Competencies :
Work Environment : While performing this job's duties, the employee will be mainly in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Position may require occasional visits to plant floor that is subject to vibration, equipment noise leading to a loud environment and cleaning solvents.
Physical Demands : The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, sit for extended periods of time, and lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, fingers, with the ability to feel and reach with hands and arms will also be required.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position. Typically works standard business days and hours on our onsite manufacturing location in Jefferson City. Flexible to attend meetings or important functions that may occur during off hours, weekends to meet organizational initiatives.
Travel : Required once a month.
