Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a Civil Designer for our Water/Wastewater group in Laurel, Maryland.
The Civil Designer will work with team members to develop comprehensive designs and provide construction services for water/wastewater projects. The Civil Designer will be involved in: design of pump stations and collection/distribution systems; preparation of drawings and specifications, performance of system analysis, preparation of study-level reports for water and wastewater systems; and collaborate with project managers, internal teams, and regulatory agencies throughout the design and construction phases of projects.
CIVIL DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or and Civil 3D
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team to meet project schedules and deadlines
