Foundation Drilling Superintendent
Role: The Foundation Drilling Superintendent is responsible for supervising the foundation installation crew to ensure the delivery of a safe, technically sound, and cost-effective product.
Work Location:
The physical location for this position is at any jobsite, which could be in any state. The ability to travel and adapt to different job sites is essential. Job sites may vary based on project requirements, and Superintendents must be prepared to work in various geographical locations and conditions.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
· Develop a thorough understanding of plans, specifications, permits, and other job site requirements and constraints, and ensure all subordinates understand their responsibilities for executing the same
· Supervise subordinates, subcontractors, and crew operations to meet or exceed project requirements and client expectations
· Oversee the maintenance, care, and inventory of all equipment, including availability of supplies and spare parts
· Ensure all training needs are met and current for all subordinates
· Perform quality assurance inspections of field operations and quality control methods and reporting
· Monitor costs, compare with estimates/budget, and report to the Project Manager
· Participate in planning operations with the Project Manager and Engineer
· Participate in project start-up and progress meetings
· Prepare all activity, safety, and progress reports, and report any problems to the Project Manager for resolution
· Conduct or monitor all safety meetings and oversee site operations to ensure safe conditions
Qualifications and Education Requirements: The Foundation Drilling Superintendent must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience supervising projects of similar size and technical complexity. The individual should be able to effectively communicate with subordinates, subcontractors, as well as the client’s engineer and site representatives. Adequate skills to understand the plans, specifications, means, and methods of construction and reporting are essential.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
