Print Room Operator

We are an interior signage company specializing in custom ADA-compliant signs, and we are currently seeking a print room operator that has experience with illustrator. 

As a critical part of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for prepping artwork for, operating, and maintaining multiple machines including:
- Mutoh XPJ-1462UF UV Flatbed Printer (direct to substrate printing)
- Roland Vinyl Plotter (vinyl cutting)
- Epson Sure Color T3270 Printer (screen print and photopolymer negative printing)
- HP Latex 365 Printer (large format roll printing)
- Mimaki JFX Flat Bed Printer

**Responsibilities:**

- Oversee and coordinate print operations and activities
- Assist in preparing production-ready artwork from approved shop drawings
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the equipment
- Work with various suppliers to resolve issues

- Previous experience in printing operations or other related fields
- Familiarity with printers and plotters
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Great Team Work and ability to work with a diverse workforce

Any experience with the signage industry will vault you to the front of the line. 

You may also be trained in other operations such as industrial lasers to cut and engrave acrylics and plastics as time and interests allow. Your customers will be the team in the shop. They need your work products to produce the signage our customers need. In this role you will work with project managers, other graphic artists, and the fabricators in the shop. A desire to learn, help others, and do great work is essential.
