Salary: $26.63/hr. - $29.39/hr. (Bilingual Spanish: $29.03/hr. - $32.03/hr.)
Position/Job Summary:
The Home Studies and Post Release Services (HSPRS) Intake coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating case acceptances and closures for the Home Study and Post Release services Program. This position will be responsible for determining program capacity for case assignments, track individual case assignments, transferring of cases to other providers and communicates with program leadership team to coordinate expedited and urgent requests. This position reports to the Program Director and works in collaboration with the Assistant Program Directors of our three locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate day-to-day referral and intake process for Morrison’s HSPRS program for all locations
- Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance intake process and operations efficiently
- Supervise a team of case aides, including interviewing, hiring, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback, including delivering corrective actions as necessary.
- Work closely with Case Management supervisors and Assistant Program Directors to meet caseload expectations.
- Oversee all case transfers within in and out of network.
- Coordinate with leadership to assign high needs and expedited referrals.
- Conduct regular internal audits to monitor data integrity.
- Support staff with data entry of new referrals accepted
- Accept home study and post release services for new referrals from ORR’s database
- Effectively act as the liaison between network supervisors, external providers and referrals coordinator team.
- Share pertinent information with program director and program leadership team.
- Assist with special projects program-wide, as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.
- Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to equity and inclusion in the workplace; model appropriate behaviors; develop, recommend, and implement improvements to business practices with awareness and understanding of the impact in a trauma-informed and culturally diverse organization.

Required Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or an equivalent degree in behavioral sciences human services, or social services fields.
- At least two years of experience working that demonstrate understanding of client/patient data management and case coordination
- Attained age 21 years or older before first day of employment in position (ORR)
We consider education, training, experience and demonstrated skills. This position requires ORR approval; exceptions to the minimum qualifications require ORR’s explicit written approval prior to hire and ORR may require supervision plans and additional training.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
- ORR experience strongly preferred.
- Technical and objective writing skills.
- Experience working with program intake processes.
- Experience supporting programs in child welfare and other social services.
Other Requirements:
- Able to work shift hours and days, as assigned. Position may require work outside of usual work hours on occasion.
- Position requires working outside of business hours approximately three times a week

- Hold a valid drivers’ license and if driving a personal vehicle, must maintain minimum auto insurance policy.
- Traveling between program locations and administrative office
- 40 hours of required training per year
Physical demands and work environment:
- Visual acuity allowing for analysis of written data.
- Manual dexterity allowing for operation of routine office equipment (computers, telephone, fax, copy machine, typewriter, calculator, etc.)
- Physical dexterity allowing for reaching, stooping, and repetitive motion of wrist, hand or fingers.
- Ability to remain calm and emotionally available in an environment serving youth who have experienced trauma.
