8a-6p on weekdays and 8a-5p on weekend shifts
Job Summary
The NP/PA provides primary care to patients, focusing on health promotion and illness prevention, serving adolescent to geriatric patients.
Essential Functions
Clinical :
- Perform advanced patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and manage patient care plans.
- Provide counseling, education, and palliative care.
Communication :
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and resolve issues promptly.
Nursing Process :
- Supervise and guide staff as needed.
- Ensure adherence to clinic standards and provide quality care.
Planning :
- Attend meetings, participate in committees, and help improve clinic policies.
Quality Assurance :
- Address and resolve care quality issues.
- Support safety and risk management initiatives.
Personal Growth :
- Participate in professional development and training.
Qualifications
Licensure :
- Licensed in Illinois as an NP or PA.
- ACLS certification required.
Education :
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
- Must meet continuing education requirements.
Experience :
- 1-3 years preferred.
Skills :
- Leadership, strong communication, and stress management.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Compensation:
Pay Range $48.07 - $73.67
