- We are hiring immediately for a full time A/P CLERK (ACCOUNTING CLERK) position.
- Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center - 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.
- Requirement: An Associate's degree or a High School diploma and 1 year of previous experience is required. Previous bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
- Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary
Summary: Compiles and maintains accounts payable records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
- Distributes signed checks as required.
- Prepares garnishment checks per reports from payroll.
- Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments.
- Answers vendor inquiries.
- Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
- Assists Corporate Financial Officers and branch personnel as necessary.
- Prepares cleared checks for storage.
- Assembles and processes overnight shipments to branches.
- Assists in monthly closings.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
- Performs filing and coping.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
