We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments.
- Conduct triage assessments to determine patient needs and prioritize care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Assist with durable medical equipment (DME) management and patient education on usage.
- Support family planning initiatives by providing education and resources to patients.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Participate in emergency medicine procedures as needed, including ER support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, particularly in emergency medicine or family planning.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically Cerner is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with nursing duties, including lifting and moving patients when necessary.
