Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in daily living activities to promote independence and quality of life.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs to appointments or activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Foster a supportive environment by encouraging social interaction and engagement in activities.
- Educate clients and families about care plans, rights, and available resources.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or similar backgrounds.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
