What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate (Part-Time) position at Morrison Industries LLC?
MVP is looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Associate in our Grand Rapids location at 653 36th St. S.E. This position would require a valid, good standing driver’s license. As well as pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, and a background check for any position within the company. This team member works around 27.5 hours per week Monday through Friday, working from 12:30 - 6:00pm. This is a great position for someone that is looking for steady, part-time work in the afternoons, there are no plans to transition into full-time currently. Starting wage is $17/hour
Our Warehouse Associates Typically:
- Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills
- Enjoy Working Independently, but can Collaborate when Needed
- Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
- Ability to Lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions
- Is Comfortable standing and walking for Majority of Shift
- Displays a Strong Attention to Detail
- Pulling Orders
- Receiving Stock
- Organizing Stock
- Managing Shipping Process
- Unloading Trucks
- Proficiency in Matching Numbers, Showcasing attention to detail
- Cleaning and other General Janitorial Tasks
- Comply with all Safety Procedures within Morrison’s Guidelines
- Consistently and Reliably attend Shift Ready to Work when Scheduled
- Can lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform any Other Duties as Assigned
While not a requirement, the ideal candidate will have some experience working with UPS Worldship.
