POSITION
Responsibilities
In this role, you will thrive with various water/wastewater engineering project design opportunities . The Engineer will support the planning, designing, permitting, assisting, funding, bidding, and performing construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure. Project work focuses on water intake, treatment, pumping, storage and distribution, and wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment. These responsibilities include:
- Prepare plans, specifications, costs, and estimates for municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities.
- Leverage design software to edit project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to project specifications.
- Leads and completes design project tasks from start to finish, supporting project and client services managers.
- Meets with client board and provides monthly reporting
- Provide construction support and observation and monitor construction progress.
- Lead and manage construction administration tasks, including submittal and RFI review, progress payment review, compliance with funding agency provisions, and oversight of onsite RPRs.
- Analyze facilities for system deficiencies regarding compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations. Provide improvement alternatives to meet compliance with such regulations.
- Assist Senior Manager in engaging with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input on water and wastewater initiatives.
YOUR STRENGTHS
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of civil design and construction experience. Water and wastewater project experience preferred.
- Experience in task or project management
- PE license preferred or able to obtain after-hire
- Design software experience in Civil 3D or similar
- Experienced with Hydraulic modeling software or similar
- Knowledge of engineering planning studies
- Strong communication, both verbal and written

Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
