What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Office Manager position at Morrison Property Maintenance and Landscape Group?
We are looking for a Business Office Manager that wants to grow with our team of Landscape Professionals. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the Office Manager will include bookkeeping and organizing client contracts. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage all Bookkeeping duties within companies using Quickbooks (i.e. Monthly Reconcile, A/R, A/P)
- Manage all Payroll duties on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
- Supervise administrative staff and assist other Team Members with Client relations
- Assist Sales team with Contract management, and client lists
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Managing the company's filing procedures
- Track stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Skills
- Must have working experience with Quickbooks software
- Must have proven experience and knowledge with Payroll
- Must have a positive and team oriented attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, able to operate other daily software's
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Familiar with Data storage and filing
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
