Security Officer Position for Champaign and surrounding Suburbs.

We are a privately held security services provider and are looking for positive, outgoing, hard working, dedicated, team driven as well as assertive individuals such as yourself to grow within our ranks. We are looking for candidates that are willing to work in Champaign, IL and surrounding areas.

Candidates must be available to work at least two shifts or more per week. Candidates must also be available to work weekends and holidays if needed. We will make every effort to give advance notice of assignments for open shifts, vacation coverages, personal days, but call offs may need to be covered with short notice. The more availability you have, the more hours you will be available to accumulate, the bigger paycheck you will receive. MSC pays weekly and offers direct deposit. Medical insurance is available immediately!

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• At least 6 months to 1 year experience as a security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or restaurant position
• Must have a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including a 20 hour training certificate
• Able to pass background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job such as, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather if needed
• Must be comfortable with standing or sitting for lengthy periods of time
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
