What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Morrow Eye Care?
We are currently looking for an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team!
As an Optometric Technician/ Front Desk Receptionist at Morrow Eye Care you will be responsible for answering a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, updating patient information, billing and coding, collecting payments, and pre-testing the patients for the doctor. Pre-testing consists of operating the auto refractor, non-contact tonometer, visual fields, and Optomap. You would also be responsible for visual acuity, motility, and color vision screening. Along with those duties, technicians also hold contact lens training sessions for patients who are new to wearing contact lenses.
At Morrow Eye Care, we do not require any previous optometric experience, however experience is preferred. We offer on-site training and provide all necessary materials to ensure a smooth transition into the field of optometry. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and is based on experience.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
