Job Description
The Personal Lines Account Executive at Morrow Insurance Agency is responsible for maintaining and maximizing profitable relationships with an existing book of business as well as growing the book of business through new client sales.

Responsibilities:
· New Business
Meet annual goals by writing new business policies for new and existing clients. Create and network with Centers of Influences to build referral sources. This process will include quoting based on our agency standards, application preparation, policy issuance and follow up to make sure we have necessary documentation on file.
· Customer Service
Educate clients on insurance products and service any personal lines client via phone, email, fax, mail and in person office visits. This will include billing inquiries, processing endorsements, submitting claims to the carrier, performing renewal reviews, providing FS-1/DL123/ID Cards/Evidence of Insurance, etc.
· Claims
Report claims for our clients to the carrier and provide guidance and assistance throughout the process. This may include contacting the adjuster on behalf of our clients.
· Retention
Remarket as necessary with various carriers, either at renewal or mid-term if necessary and/or making suggestions for their current policy to match our agency standards.
· Documentation/Data Entry in EPIC
Document all activity with each client in EPIC (our AMS). This includes all conversations (email, phone conversations, in-person visits, etc.). This also includes inputting new policies, policy changes, cancellations, trailing documents (such as applications, coverage rejection forms, LPR’s, FS-1/DL123, roof invoices, POA documents, etc.) in EPIC.
· Knowledge
Learn and maintain knowledge of the various carriers underwriting practices and our agency standards. Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
· Teamwork
Must be a team player willing to help with each other’s clients as necessary and collaborate accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Currently possess P&C License and have a minimum of two years personal lines insurance account management experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
- Have a proven track record of business to business sales success.
- Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales.
- Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
- Epic Experience Preferred
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
