Edison CAD Drafter I (E1)
Objective
The primary responsibility of this position is to create technical drawings and plans for electrical design services using computer-aided design (CAD) software while adhering to Edison design standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop Edison designs using the appropriate blocks, standards, mapping symbols, call-outs, decals, and tie-downs.
- Ensure compliance with company-specific drawing standards and guidelines.
- Transfer existing utility (substructure) plans into Edison designs.
- Organize and maintain all project drawings.
- Accurately complete redlines and plan revisions as directed by the Project Manager and Planner.
- Review and verify designs for accuracy and completeness before finalizing.
- Modify and revise drawings as needed to correct deficiencies.
- Focus on single-phase designs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
