Morson Talent (Canada & USA) seeks a seasoned Senior or Principal Process Engineer with expertise in Chemical Engineering to fill this key position.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry, preferably with recent experience in this field.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Take charge of designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes within nuclear facilities.
- Promote technical growth among junior engineering staff through mentoring and guidance.
- Conduct thorough process simulations, risk assessments, and safety evaluations.
- Prepare comprehensive process documentation, including flowcharts, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee that projects meet essential standards.
- Supervise the execution and troubleshooting of processes during various stages.
- Evaluate adherence to nuclear industry regulations and company policies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry, with preference for candidates who have recently worked in this field.
- Deep understanding of process engineering principles and nuclear regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Aiken, SC or Savannah, SC for 2-3 days per week.
