Senior Process Engineer

We are on the hunt for a passionate and highly skilled Senior or Principal Process Engineer with a strong Chemical Engineering background to join our cutting-edge team. If you’re a driven professional with at least 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry, we want you!
You will need to bring recent, hands-on expertise in this field, and the opportunity to work on-site in Aiken, SC or Savannah 2-3 days a week. If you're ready to tackle complex challenges and make a significant impact, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and innovate in the design, development, and optimization of groundbreaking chemical processes for nuclear facilities.
- Act as a mentor and technical leader, empowering junior engineers to grow and thrive.
- Drive impactful process simulations, risk assessments, and safety evaluations to enhance operational excellence.
- Develop and refine detailed process documentation, including flow diagrams, P&IDs, and procedures that shape the future of nuclear engineering.
- Work closely with diverse, cross-functional teams to ensure projects exceed safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Take the lead in the implementation and troubleshooting of processes across construction, testing, and operational phases, ensuring seamless execution.
- Champion regulatory compliance and drive industry-leading best practices to ensure nuclear safety and operational success.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry, with preference for those whose most recent work is in this field.
- Deep knowledge of process engineering principles and nuclear regulatory frameworks.
- A natural problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills, combined with outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
