This position plays a critical role in supporting the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of automation systems in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment. The role focuses on managing and supporting DeltaV and other automation platforms, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), servers, workstations, network infrastructure, software, and security systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage information and operational technology (OT) systems to support manufacturing operations.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT/OT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure the security and integrity of operational data and systems.
- Lead and coordinate OT projects that drive operational efficiency and scalability.
- Manage the integration and support of converging IT and OT environments, including servers, workstations, peripherals, applications, and communication systems.
- Assess current systems and identify opportunities for improvement in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy effective technology solutions.
- Maintain robust backup, recovery, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to support continuous innovation.
- Create, maintain, and improve business and technical processes.
- Act as the primary OT point of contact for ERP and MES system integration.
Additional Responsibilities
- Help ensure 24/7 uptime and performance of systems critical to production, meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Lead response efforts for emergencies and outages.
- Develop internal system documentation and knowledge base materials.
- Monitor system health and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute to strategic planning for future scalability and infrastructure growth.
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of experience with process automation and HMI platforms (e.g., DeltaV, Rockwell, Honeywell).
- 5 years of experience managing enterprise-level IT/OT infrastructure, including network systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably one experiencing growth or expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in ITIL or similar frameworks for incident, problem, and change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- On-call experience in a critical operations setting.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
