What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Coordinator I position at Mortenson Construction?
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator I with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and organize punch lists, inventory, work production plans for easy retrieval and documenting
Process invoices and billing under the supervision of project manager and/or project accountant
Train in new project admins/clerks
Perform basic inventory control under the direction of project management staff
Assist with record retention and document controls
Perform basic field quality and safety inspections
Document conformance to plans and specs
Recommend potential solutions
Promote Mortenson's safety culture
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience on a construction job site preferred
Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills
Ability to learn and utilize different types of computer software used in Construction Management to support any aspect of a construction project
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
Ability to effectively handle detailed information and meet deadlines
Ability to multitask
Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
Ability to travel up to 100%

The base pay range for this role is $56,200 - $75,900 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
