Power Carpenter/Concrete Finisher - Rocky Mountain

Study blueprints, sketches or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard. Measures the dimensions of structure of fixture to be fabricated

Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex's, silt fences and/or straw bales, setup site per erosion control plan

Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms

Spread concrete to specified depth adn workable consistency

Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete

Form carpentry, concrete foundation

Concrete placement/finishing

Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to create finish

Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound

Mold expansion joints and edges

Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevations

Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect of all pre-fabricated materials

Concrete and rough carpentry

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Minimum of three years of experience as a carpenter
3. Trade or technical school certification/diploma is a plus
