Job Description
Position Summary:
Mortenson is seeking a highly skilled professional to develop, implement, and maintain strategies to attract and retain top talent. This role requires excellent communication, presentation, and training facilitation skills, as well as experience working with primary partner organizations and an understanding of workforce development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Apprenticeship Program Manager and HR Coordinator on completion, tracking, and storage of required outreach documentation.
- Assist with the administration of new team member and apprentice registration documents as needed.
- Develop process for ensuring Mortenson Apprentices have access to federal, state, and veteran grant opportunities.
- Utilize effective presentation skills, including development of materials to communicate Mortenson's value proposition to prospective partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 4 years of workforce development experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Understanding of workforce development.
- Experience working with primary partner organizations such as technical schools and/or veterans programs.
- Advanced communication, presentation, and training facilitation skills in construction.
- Basic computer and software skills (Microsoft applications).
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 85%.
