**Job Title:** Sourcing Strategist
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with the ability to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships.
**Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories or groups of categories.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement through spend segmentation, category maturity analysis, and supply market analysis.
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers at the leadership level, including negotiation of national and project-specific agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and provide regular business reviews to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products, and make recommendations to buyers and senior leadership.
Lead cross-functional teams to achieve material cost reductions for assigned categories.
**Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.
Minimum five years' experience strategically managing high-voltage critical equipment spend.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams.
Experience working with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
Active listening skills and openness to diverse input and feedback.
