Crew Operations Specialist Role
This role involves operating various heavy equipment such as blades, dozers, and scrapers under specific project guidelines, ensuring adherence to Mortenson safety standards and protocols.
Main Responsibilities
- Equipment operation according to project needs, following established safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and organization in assigned areas, performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment performance for malfunctions, and adhering to work plans.
- Fostering strong team dynamics, utilizing interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, interpreting relevant documentation, leveraging problem-solving skills, and exhibiting adaptability in dynamic environments.
Necessary Qualifications and Competencies
- Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities, knowledge of equipment types and purposes, positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and solid analytical and mathematical aptitude.
- Formal training or certifications for equipment use, at least one year of directly related experience, valid driver's license, relevant commercial or site development background.
