Mortenson is seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience with billing and/or asset management software, as well as Oracle.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement systems that enhance business processes and outcomes.
- Assess existing and desired functions to design and implement a supply chain that drives continuous improvement.
- Develop business cases to support strategic decision-making and make recommendations to optimize the application of the strategic sourcing process.
- Direct sourcing initiatives aligned with strategic plans and supply chain strategies.
- Ensure quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets are met with key suppliers.
- Foster a customer-focused approach and maintain a strong service orientation.
- Develop sustainable, long-term strategies to achieve business objectives for the Supply Chain function and contribute to Company-wide strategy.
- Manage cross-functional teams working towards shared goals without direct supervisory responsibility.
- Lead initiatives and influence decisions.
- Establish strategies for sourcing/supply chain with a focus on process excellence.
- Optimize supply chain efforts through collaboration with primary focus on systems and process improvement.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and integration within Supply Chain and across Mortenson to provide cohesive solutions and ensure effective delivery of strategy.
- Analyze operations billing reports, focusing on troubleshooting issues and developing solutions in partnership with ITS.
- Liaise with ITS to support software billing functions (Contracts, Invoices, Work Orders, etc.).
- Analyze consumable spend reports to drive desired behaviors amongst teams.
- Support purchase order and rental management in Oracle.
- Analyze asset management reports (primarily rental equipment).
- Analyze supplier spend reports.
- Provide inventory management support – Scheduled reporting, on-demand reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- This role will require less than 10% travel.
