In this role as a Project Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing team that delivers projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons
- Implement the pre-construction quality plan
- Obtain and maintain all necessary construction permits
- Develop and maintain various lists and logs, including material tracking, project testing, and non-conformance reports
- Manage contract documents and establish handling procedures for electronic documents, including RFIs and correspondence
- Incorporate processes and procedures that support the project closeout phase
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years related construction experience
- Detailed orientation sufficient to organize and effectively manage multiple tasks
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven positive and professional attitude and customer service skills
- Current driver's license
