Summary
Mortenson is currently seeking a Project Manager that will develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections. Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system. Identify cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions. Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment. Create monthly owner billings, maintain budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers. Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts

Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
Maintain schedule and budget until project completion
Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members
Qualifications
(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25 hours / week)
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
- Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system
- Identify cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions
- Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
- Create monthly owner billings
- Maintain budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers
- Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts
- Provide job assignments and facilitate career development
- Approve timecards for on-site team members
- Provide ongoing feedback of work performance
- Assist with the review of the owner agreement
- Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative
- Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities
- Determine when to submit to the owner or on-site representatives
- Obtain the customer/architect’s approval
Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
Maintain schedule and budget until project completion
Provide high level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members
Qualifications
- Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
- Ability to travel overnight up to 10-15%

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum six years of construction management or related experience
- Current driver’s license

Salary : $110,700 - $166,100
