Current Opening

We are currently seeking an entry-level Scheduler in the Civil Group to assist in performing routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the application of basic scheduling principles and techniques with oversight for our Operating Groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting schedules using common CPM scheduling programs under supervision
• Support supervision by monitoring and updating project schedules
• Collaborate with site management to develop mitigation plans to address scheduling issues
• Foster effective working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

Requirements

• Prior experience on construction job sites is highly valued
• Scheduling experience - recent scheduling of college courses and/or one year of experience
• Basic understanding of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software
• Knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing
• Able to apply creativity and mature judgment in resolving problems
• Basic skills in plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation
• Able to work effectively in a cross-functional team-based environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to find innovative solutions
• Focus on delivering quality results in a timely manner
• Effective communication and active listening skills with openness to diverse input and feedback
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to continuous learning
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Power Project software, is a plus

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field
