Job Description
The Superintendent I role involves overseeing assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a specific area of discipline. This position requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan and implement projects to ensure timely completion, including reviewing construction documents, understanding contract terms, and coordinating with design engineers.
- Crew Leadership: Supervise and motivate project partners, craft foremen, and crews to achieve project goals.
- Team Development: Coach and mentor team members, identify training needs, and provide opportunities for growth and development.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: Minimum eight years construction experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and leadership skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
