Job Description
Mortenson is currently hiring a Supply Chain Manager. This position plays an integral role in driving a wide range of reporting and analytics strategy on behalf of the Project teams, and group Leadership.
This position reports directly to the Director of Equipment Solutions but is primarily responsible for supporting all functions under the Supply Chain and Advanced Manufacturing umbrella.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build business cases that support strategic decision making and make recommendations to optimize the application of the strategic sourcing process.
- Define and direct sourcing initiatives in alignment with strategic plans and supply chain strategies.
- Establish strong and effective relationships with key suppliers (existing and new) to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets are met.
- Develop sustainable, long-term strategies to achieve business objectives for the Supply Chain function and contribute to Company-wide strategy.
- Responsible for establishing strategies for sourcing/supply chain with process excellence focus.
- Work cross-functionally to optimize supply chain efforts with primary focus on systems and process improvement
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and integration within Supply Chain and across Mortenson to provide cohesive solutions and ensure effective delivery of strategy.
- Generating, formatting, and analyzing operations billing reports, with a focus on troubleshooting issues and developing solutions in partnership with ITS.
- Act as liaison with ITS to support the groups' (software) billing functions (Contracts, Invoices, Work Orders, etc.)
- Supporting purchase order and rental management in Oracle
- Generating, formatting, and analyzing asset management reports (primarily rental equipment)
- Inventory Management Support - Scheduled reporting, on-demand reporting, and discrepancy resolution
Requirements:
- Role will require less than 10% travel.
- Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate or above required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with a focus on advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, complex formulas, V-Lookups, Spreadsheet merging & referencing, and graphing.
- Experience with billing and or asset management software required
- Experience with Oracle required
- Bachelor's degree required
