Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) who is fluent in Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry and exceptional communication skills. While an RMLO (Registered Mortgage Loan Originator) license is preferred, it is not required. As an LOA, you will support our loan officers by managing loan applications, communicating with clients, and ensuring a smooth mortgage process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Loan Officers in the loan application process, including gathering required documentation and verifying client information.
- Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish to provide updates, answer questions, and guide them through the mortgage process.
- Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan files.
- Review and prepare loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Manage and organize client files and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish (both written and verbal) is required.
- RMLO license preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and loan processing software.
- Previous experience in the mortgage industry or as a Loan Officer Assistant is a plus.
Salary : $30,000 - $60,000
