Responsibilities

- Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine loan eligibility.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, explaining terms and conditions clearly.
- Negotiate loan contracts with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Utilize financial software for processing applications and managing client data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services trends and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure timely processing of loans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Experience as a Loan Officer.
- A strong understanding of loan origination processes and underwriting standards.
- Familiarity with TILA regulations and Fair Housing laws is a must.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in math and financial analysis to accurately assess client needs.
- Experience with financial software for loan processing and management is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple applications effectively.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
