We're seeking talented Loan Officers to join our team and help us build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Source referral business and borrowers, spending at least 80% of the workday outside the office building networks and generating leads.
- Originate and manage loan transactions while serving as the primary point of contact for borrowers.
- Maintain an active knowledge base of MEP’s loan products and qualification requirements.
- Identify and recommend products that align with customer needs and MEP’s lending guidelines.
- Review active loan files daily to ensure documentation is complete and identify ways to expedite the process.
- Leverage professional judgment to assess potential borrowers' suitability.
- Maintain active licensing required for lending activities.
- Meet with borrowers at their convenience—whether at home, office, or other locations.
- Develop a robust referral network, including prior borrowers, real estate agents, financial planners, attorneys, and settlement companies.
- Attend closings to represent MEP and ensure a smooth transaction.
- Achieve and exceed MEP’s Minimum Funding Standards of 2–5 funded loans per month.
