As a Mortgage Compliance Analyst II you will provide key support, including auditing and assessments, for activities associated with the companies Mortgage Compliance Program to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Review marketing materials from our builder affiliates to ensure compliance with TILA, ECOA and MAP
  • Assist in preparation for agency, investor and state exams, and CFPB origination requirements
  • Maintain policies and procedures to support the Compliance Program along with P&P custodial duties for the company
  • Perform assessments and targeted reviews to document gaps, and track remediation plans
  • Research of regulatory developments, and changes relevant to compliance and all lines of business
  • Provide periodic testing reports to Compliance Management
  • Gather, investigate, and review additional information and conduct research and/or testing as necessary, including targeted reviews. Ensure assigned audits are performed in a timely manner in accordance with established procedures and agency, federal and state guidelines
  • Perform and own specialized areas of responsibility such as (Licensing, Vendor Management, Community Templates, Consumer Complaints, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You might be just who we’re looking for if you have…

  • 2-4 years of general mortgage industry or business compliance experience required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and strong Excel spreadsheet skills required, PowerPoint preferred
  • Ability to function independently and prioritize workload
  • Working knowledge of Encompass, a plus
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality


FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Will have responsibilities such as:

  • This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Remote/Hybrid opportunities available
  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with internal customers, co-workers and higher level management
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedure


  • Mattamy Home Funding experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
