PURPOSE
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and analyzing activities and events that foster a richer employee experience and stronger connections to the communities MGIC serves.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds and maintains relationships with members of the community, acting as a company liaison to nonprofit organizations as well as relevant groups and regional organizations; maintains a relevant contact and resource database; facilitates process for establishing new relationships and / or discontinuing engagements.
- Plans, develops, promotes and implements co-worker connected giving activities including volunteer events, supply drives, community grants, giving campaigns, matching gifts, etc.
- Responds to inquiries from community members and other interested parties.
- Partners closely with Product & Marketing group to ensure alignment of community-related strategies, relationships and activities across the organization; partners on integrated reporting and updates to senior management.
- Collaborates across the company with key partnerships within Product & Marketing, Human Resources, and Employee Experience / Internal Communications.
- Supports and advises company leadership to help drive community and inclusion strategy; stays abreast of the latest community and inclusion research and best practices to inform program development and influence processes, policies and programs that support an inclusive environment.
- Responsible for creating metrics and providing tracking and reporting on progress of community and inclusion strategy, providing monthly updates and analysis on trends.
- Coordinates efforts with other key activities that incorporate attention to community and inclusion, including but not limited to : CSR reporting, Co-Worker experience and engagement, and training and development.
